Check with Snopes first

Grabs the shortcut input or clipboard, then encodes the link and passes it as a parameter in a Snopes URL, then shows the resulting page with search results for the story.

Inspired by Jason Snell’s request while we were recording the Clockwise podcast, this shortcut lets you take a link and check if it’s been debunked on Snopes – good for checking before sharing in cases where a story might seem a bit shaky.

Also helpful to send to someone who perhaps regularly shares links that make it on Snopes 😈
