Count
Counts the number of items, characters, words, sentences, or lines passed as input.
Note (from Apple, for real)
This is just like the Count in Sesame Street, but instead of a vampire, it’s a Shortcuts action.
Gets text from input or prompts you to enter it, then counts the length of the string.
Wraps the input in three backticks on either side (which displays as a “code block” in Markdown-supported applications).
Presents a list of preset emoji and copies your choice to the clipboard.
Asks you to enter text, then wraps it with a blank paragraph graph on either side.
Lets you quicky add characters like parantheses, brackets, or quotes before and after a string of text.
Gets the base64-encoded text for the Charlie Brown sad walking music, decodes it, and plays it out loud.
Asks you to pick from a menu Apple Music Holiday playlists to open.
Asks you to choose a Reminders list, then reminders from that list, then exports them into Things and deletes the originals.
Take a link from the Share sheet or yourclipboard and open it in the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine to see past versions of the page.
Use this shortcut to quickly find a shortcut in your library to run or open and edit.
Works well if you have a large shortcuts collection.
