Open my Quick Notes

Shows the Notes folder for Quick Notes.

Designed for folks taking advantage of the new Quick Notes feature available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac that makes it easy to make a, well, quick note and store it in a special folder separate from the rest of your Notes collection.

Once you use the Control Center widget, Globe + Q, or move your cursor into the bottom right of the screen, the Quick Note menu will be activated – any notes you create there will be saved to the same folder, which you can access quickly using this shortcut.

If run from iPad, the shortcut also opens Notes in Slide Over first so I don’t lose my current context and can keep the whole set nearby.

I use this shortcut with Siri and in my Shortcuts folder for Notes to open my set of notes in the Grid view and move them into the respective folders I’ve set for the areas of my life.
