Send tab to Chromecast

Runs an AppleScript to activate Chrome and select the Cast option.

Using a custom keyboard shortcut set up on MacOS and AppleScript commands to activate that, this opens a tab in Google Chrome and casts it to a device.

To set it up, go into System Preferences > Keyboards > Keyboard Shortcut and set up a new item for “Cast…” and Command + Shift + Option + Control + C.

Then, customize the URL below – I use Google Analytics.

Then, customize the “Delay 0.1” and “Key Code 48” section depending on how many Chromecast devices you have – my desired TV is the second option, so this uses it twice.
