Free vs. Member Shortcuts
Browse the latest shortcuts available for free or members-only.
Free shortcuts are easier to understand, solve a simple use case, or ideas that everyone should have in their collection.
Members-only shortcuts are more complex, solve specific use cases very well, and represent my unique ideas.In general, an entire folder of shortcuts are either all free or all members-only — except the bundle shortcuts available on each page.
Free shortcuts
Open new chat
Runs AppleScript to activate the keyboard shortcut Command + N to create a new chat in the ChatGPT app for Mac.
Discover a comic series
Opens the “See More” link from your curated Comixology homepage to the “Discover a new comic series” page on Amazon.
Ask Perplexity
Prompts you to “Ask anything” before opening into Perplexity to search for your query.
Toggle Bookmark status
Utilizes AppleScript to open the Developer and press the Command + or keyboard command that adds a session to your bookmarks (or removes it).
Open in Callsheet
Redirects a link from The Movie Database to Callsheet by replacing the URL with the deep link.
Check beta release notes
Presents a menu of platform types, then opens the corresponding release notes page on Apple’s website.
Time to relax
Starts up the “Relax” mode of Endel, a variation that plays lowkey sound effects that help your mind calm down and settle.
Members-only shortcuts
Check top free apps
Gets 25 items from Apple’s RSS feed for top free apps, asks you to pick from the list, and opens one.
Connect to iPad mini
Activates Sidecar for an iPad mini near your Mac. Works remotely from iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and HomePod using Siri over SSH.
Open Recents
Uses the donated action from the Photos app to open into the Recents album.
Open Desktop and Dock preferences
Opens the Dock preference pane for macOS so you can customize features like widgets.
Search by website
Asks you for a keyword and website domain to search, then looks across all items in your Read Later in Reeder and asks you to open one.
Scrape Mastodon link
Extracts metadata from a Mastodon status URL for reuse in other shortcuts.
